about

Humans have used storytelling to pass down traditions, memories, songs, and lessons over the course of history. Whether it was to survive or instill purpose of community, these narratives frame what it means to be a family.

JUD is a three-part storytelling podcast project to document stories of his grandparents Nancy, John, and Julia. These stories preserve the unique histories of these people for generations to come. They also inspire listeners to take a recording device and have conversations with their living loved ones. These are the narratives worth remembering for a lifetime.

This project was inspired by the podcast Esto no es radio by Fernando “Micro” Hernández.
